Desert running, and more
importantly the people and the landscapes I have seen and met, has completely
changed my life.
I am therefore using this site to pull together the stories, people and advice that I have picked up along the way from these remote regions, so that I can share some of this and hopefully spare some future contestants of the Marathon des Sables the pain that I had at the beginning.
I still have a number of unfulfilled ambitions: I plan to run in every desert in the world both cold and hot, visit every country in the Sahara, and raise £1 Million for charity.
Some of it is simply bonkers, but it’s a laugh and the people are amazing!
